Yousef Alzaeem is an accomplished business operations and transformation professional with a proven track record of success in highly competitive markets. He specializes in operations, strategy, leadership, and efficiency improvement in industries such as construction, manufacturing, and wholesale.
Yousef holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University, and a bachelor’s in economics from Berzeit University.
He is currently the Director of Operations at American Backhoe Services and Excavating Co., where he leads a team that obtains business requirements and provides operational solutions. Prior to this role, Yousef served as the Director of Business Transformation at Tayse International, where he accelerated growth, maximized efficiency, and created benchmark strategies. He also worked as a Strategy and Projects Manager at Tri Pac, Inc., driving rapid growth during Covid-19 by creating a post-pandemic business strategy, managing expansion projects, and optimizing an upgraded operating system.
Yousef founded and managed Everest Trading Group, a diversified investment portfolio in Gaza, and despite political and economic difficulties, Everest Trading became a market leader with 35% market share in the cement trading market and a significant player in the pharmaceuticals market. He also worked in the telecom industry for nine years as a Sales Manager for Patel and Sales Strategic Support Manager for Jawwal.
Yousef is the first Gazan to obtain an MBA degree from Kellogg School of Management in Tel Aviv campus, and he co-founded and leads the YES initiative to support Palestinian-Gazan youth in obtaining higher education from global learning institutions that have campuses in Israel.
